By its very nature, designing and fitting out your own offices is always going to be a unique challenge, and for accompany that prides itself on quality work that pleases the eye as much as it pleases the client, the offices at Drayton St Leonard needed to be a flagship piece of work.
A barn conversion, the building was essentially a shell when Westwood started work. An open-plan layout, new ceilings were fitted around lowered beams and partition walls were erected throughout. The kitchen and rest room areas were built from scratch and at that point. The quality would have been sufficient to satisfy the most demanding client. But when you are building your own advertising campaign, it needs to be on another level entirely.

Quality, both in terms of the materials used and the aesthetic finish was paramount, and Westwood decided that nothing less than the best hardwoods would do. American White Oak was the material of choice and talking their expertise from some of their premier projects for other clients, Westwood fitted glazed screens to every office, and the result is simply stunning. The craftsmen fitted all the desks and oak skirtings finished the job to the client’s satisfaction. Not easy, when the client is yourself…….!
